Drs. R.A.L.J. Theunissen

Focus; Interventional cardiology, medical management Heart + Vascular Centre Maastricht Drs. RALJ Theunissen is a cardiologist, specializing in interventional cardiology. He also is part of the management team of the Heart + Vascular Centre Maastricht. Drs. Theunissen studied medicine at the University of Nijmegen and received his medical degree in 2003. He followed training cardiologist at the University Hospital of Maastricht, where he since 2012 as a staff cardiologist and medical manager of Heart + Vascular Centre operates. In 2014 he completed his specialization in interventional cardiologist at the University Hospital Maastricht. In the future he will focus on the TAVI procedures (aortklepimplantaties through the groin or the tip of the heart).
