In 1998 Peter Feczko has completed his medical studies at the Semmelweis University of Budapest, Hungary. Training to become an orthopedic surgeon, he studied in Budapest and Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.

During his training, he was closely involved in the clinical and scientific work of Professor Laszlo Hangody in knee surgery and cartilage repair.

After completing his education in 2006 he moved to the Netherlands and worked as an orthopedic surgeon in IJsselmeer hospitals in Lelystad. Since July 2009 he has worked in the Maastricht University Medical Center. His specialization concerns in particular the arthroscopic surgery and prosthetics of the knee and shoulder and sports traumatology.

In addition to his clinical work, he has been coordinator closely involved in Lean improvement project, and also served as Chief of the clinic. He is responsible for organizing and controlling the outpatient and osteoarthritis Osteoarthritis Clinic Maastricht (AKM).

His scientific interests include knee replacement, shoulder replacement, ligament surgery and knee osteoarthritis.
