Carolien van Leengoed

She completed her bachelor's degree in Medicine at Maastricht University in 2019 and partially pursued the master's in Medicine. In 2024, she obtained her master’s degree in Healthcare Policy, Innovation and Management, also at Maastricht University. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in the organizational and financial aspects of healthcare, which led her to her current role. With her broad academic background and interdisciplinary mindset, she is motivated to contribute to sustainable and forward-thinking healthcare solutions.
Michelle Lenaerts
Michelle Lenaerts (1996) works as a secretary at the internal grant office of Maastricht UMC+. In this role, she supports the team with administrative and organizational tasks, helping to ensure the smooth coordination of internal funding processes and project support. Her structured and service-oriented approach plays a key role in the daily operations of the office.
Before joining the grant office, Michelle worked as a coordinator for quality and cleaning services at Maastricht UMC+, where she gained valuable experience in operational support and process coordination within a healthcare environment. She completed her vocational training as a Financial Administrative Assistant (MBO), which provided a solid foundation for her administrative expertise and eye for detail.
