- medication administered intravenously (e.g. to rheumatoid arthritis and immunology patients)

Organisation
The Outpatient Clinic for Internal Disorders has 18 beds divided between three four-bed rooms, one three-bed room, and three one-bed rooms.
Where possible, the one-bed rooms are reserved for patients who must be kept separate for medical reasons.
Directions
The Outpatient Clinic for Internal Disorders is located on level 4 of the Dr.Tansgebouw. Patients should check in at the counter of the Oncology Outpatient Clinic on level 5 of the Dr. Tansgebouw. They will then be escorted to level 4.
What happens after you check in
You may have someone accompany you during your treatment. A nurse will be waiting for you in the room and carry out the treatment, or call in the physician when necessary.
You and your companion will be served free coffee, tea or soft drinks during your stay in the clinic. If treatment takes longer, we can also order you lunch or a snack (free of charge). Your companion may go to the visitors' restaurant for a meal. If necessary or if you so wish, your physician can check in on you while you are in the clinic.
Children
The Outpatient Clinic for Internal Disorders does not treat children. They are treated in the Paediatric Department.
