Inside the hospital
On our interactive map (in Dutch) you can see where specific departments in the hospital are situated. You can select the department you need to visit and print out the map with your specific directions. The map is also available on a smartphone with internet connection.
To the hospital
Maastricht UMC+ is located in an area called 'Randwijck - wijk 29' and is easily accessible by public transport or car. Follow the signs: 'academisch ziekenhuis Maastricht' or 'AZM'.
If you are coming from the direction Eindhoven, you can take exit 55 'academisch ziekenhuis Maastricht' on the A2 highway. If you are coming from the direction Liege (B) you can take exit 55 'academisch ziekenhuis Maastricht' on the A2 highway.

You can take the train to station 'Maastricht Randwijck'. On the platform you can take the stairs to the exit. From the station, you take a right turn. After about a five minute walk you enter the hospital via a glass walkway ('ingang Noord'). Inside the hospital there will be signs (in Dutch). Underneath the hospital's parking deck you will find a secure bicycle storage, where you can leave your bike against a fee of € 0,50 per day.

facilities for patients and visitors
There are 4 car parks for patients and visitors.
- General parking (P-1)
- Parking Oncology Center (P-7)
- Parking Dialysis Department (P-8)
- Parking A&E (Accident & Emergency department) (P-9)
Our parking fees are:
- €0,20 per 10 minutes with a maximum of €10,- per day
- Weekly parking card €15,-
- Monthly parking card €30,-
When entering the car park you'll receive a parking ticket. When you leave, please enter this card into the ticket machine. After you have paid the parking fee, you will receive your parking ticket back. If you enter the parking ticket in the parking machine at the exit of the car park the barriers will open. The first 30 minutes of parking are free of charge.
At the information desk next to the ticket machine you can buy a parking card that allows you unlimited parking for 7 days. A monthly parking card can be purchased at the Service Desk of the Facilities Department (on the 1st floor of the main hospital building, follow Route 6).
The parking spaces at the Oncology Center, Dialysis Department and A&E (Accident & Emergency department) are intended solely for patients and visitors to these specific departments (they can park free of charge). Unautherised use of these parking spaces will result in a parking fee of €15,-.
Parking spaces for disabled drivers
For disabled motorists special parking spaces are reserved on the 1st and 2nd parking decks near the elevators.
Parking for vehicles higher than 2 meters
There are special parking spaces for cars that are higher than two meters (for example wheelchair vans). Please drive as follows. Coming from the traffic lights at the Oeslingerbaan, drive towards Academisch Ziekenhuis Maastricht. Then take the first exit on your right (this is the exit before the Oxford Street parking). At the first entrance on your left, please report to the Security Department via the intercom at the gate and you will be admitted.
