If your complaint or claim has not been dealt with to your satisfaction, you can request a decision from the Hospital Disputes Committee. Maastricht UMC+ is affiliated to the Hospital Disputes Committee.
In principle, the Disputes Committee takes a decision within six months. The ruling is binding. The Disputes Committee is independent. In contrast to the Maastricht UMC+ Complaints Committee, the Disputes Committee can award damages of up to € 25,000. You can find more information about the Hospital Disputes Committee.
